The International Karate Organization SeiKyokushinkai is an international family of practitioners, instructors, and dojo leaders united by a common purpose: to carry forward the teachings of Masutatsu Oyama, the great founder of Kyokushin Karate, while helping one another grow as martial artists and as people.
We believe that the spirit of Budo extends far beyond physical strength and competition. It lives in our discipline, humility, courage, and willingness to support others. Training challenges us to overcome our limitations, take responsibility for our actions, and bring these values into everyday life.
The character Sei (聖) means “holy” or “sacred.” For us, it represents purity of intention and a sincere commitment to the principles we practice. Our name reminds us to approach karate with an open heart, treat others with dignity, and earn respect through our conduct—both inside and outside the dojo.
We are building a community where friendship and cooperation guide our relationships. Our commitment is to keep political divisions, organizational intrigue, and personal rivalries out of our shared work. Competition should inspire improvement and mutual respect, while organizational leadership should serve our members and help them succeed.
